Regional Operations Manager
Robert is the founder of PlusComms and is in charge of the day-to-day operation of the company. He is directly responsible for the company competing in both the space comms sector and underground communications. He has a long history of working on space projects including being stationed at Parkes for NASA’s Voyager encounters with Uranus and Neptune and ESA’s Giotto encounter with Halleys Comet. Robert is well-known in the Australian Communications scene and in 2006 was nominated for the CommsDay Awards as the Architect of Competition. He served as Alcatel’s Regulatory Manager (Aust &NZ) and was involved in many health initiatives and boards. He also has strong credentials in underground radio and has overseen the operation and maintenance of the radio communications for three of Sydney’s road tunnels including the Radio Rebroadcast Systems. Robert has also overseen the installation of communications systems in mines from Groote Eylandt NT to Whyalla SA. He has received numerous awards including a Certificate of Appreciation from NASA for support of the first space shuttle STS-1. He is a regular speaker at conferences and appears on radio and television programs around the world. Robert’s hobbies include amateur radio,high altitude weather balloon flights,3D photography,all of which contribute strongly to his working life. Dr Vincent Braniff
Business Development
Dr Vincent Braniff M.B.,B.S. (Adel),B.A. (Syd) has 18 years of experience as a medical doctor,including surgical training,military,and international work. His clinical niche areas are in emergency care,and the surgical disciplines of bariatric and metabolic surgery,general &trauma,skin cancer,orthopaedic,and vascular surgery.
Since 2003 he has also been developing business in international trade,and in conjunction with Mr. Lorenz since 2007. He lives and works between Sydney and Hong Kong,along with frequent business travel to Europe.
He has been involved in “All of Health”Networks and is looking to develop PlusComms “All of Health”network solution. He has taken an active role in the development of new products especially underground radio technologies. His role is regional and he travels regularly throughout Asia.
Alexander Lorenz
Chief Financial Officer
Originally from Munich,Germany,and has six years of experience in the finance and investment sector. Until recently he worked in a fund management business in Hong Kong,analyzing and implementing investments across Asia. Prior to that,he worked for several years at UBS in Zurich and Hong Kong in various business and portfolio management functions. He holds an MBA from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and has been living in Hong Kong for the past four years,while maintaining strong networks across Europe.
